Superheat
Suction line temperature minus evaporator saturation temperature.
A practical field companion for diagnostics, calculations, equipment history and reference material — with core tools available offline after the first load.
HVAC Copilot is a reference and documentation aid, not a substitute for training, supervision, OEM instructions, code requirements or qualified judgment. Follow site procedures and lockout/tagout. Never bypass a safety control or vent refrigerant.
Build a case from the equipment, observed symptom and actual measurements. Missing data stays visible instead of being guessed.
Record the measurement, instrument, operating mode and conditions together. A pressure reading without refrigerant, ambient/load and line-temperature context is not enough to establish charge or diagnose a sealed-system fault.
Local calculations — no AI connection required.
Suction line temperature minus evaporator saturation temperature.
Condenser saturation temperature minus liquid line temperature.
Approximate standard-air calculation: 1.08 × CFM × ΔT.
Velocity = airflow ÷ duct cross-sectional area.
Convert Fahrenheit and Celsius.
Percent imbalance = maximum deviation from average ÷ average × 100.
Build a local record for units you work on. Records stay in this browser until exported.
Save verified field notes and keep manuals or documents on this device for offline access.
Add PDF, image or text files. Files are saved in this browser's local storage and can be opened again offline after upload. This release does not yet extract PDF text, OCR scans or interpret wiring-diagram images; add searchable text in a field note above.
Use the built-in offline field guide or connect to NVIDIA Nemotron through your secure Cloudflare Worker. Online text chat requires internet access.
Describe the equipment, symptom and measurements. Attach up to three photos for local preview. Online photo analysis is not connected yet; do not rely on the current AI connection to interpret images.
Photos currently remain in the browser and are not sent to the AI service. Avoid including customer personal information or confidential site details.
Manage the secure online AI connection and your local field data.
HVAC Copilot sends text messages to your Cloudflare Worker, which calls NVIDIA Nemotron through OpenRouter. Your OpenRouter API key stays in Cloudflare and is never stored in this website. This connection currently supports text chat only; photo analysis will be added separately. Online requests require internet access and are subject to OpenRouter free-model limits and availability.
Export equipment, service logs and field notes as a JSON backup. Reference files are stored separately in this browser and are not included in the JSON backup; keep your original manuals securely backed up.
HVAC Copilot is an independent field utility and is not affiliated with any HVAC equipment manufacturer or third-party AI provider.
